Sri Lanka's First 

All-Female Surf Club

Founded in 2018, the Arugam Bay Girls Surf Club (ABGSC) is the first all-female surf club in Sri Lanka. 

 

Our vision is to enable surfing to become a culturally accepted and recognized sport for Sri Lankan women. We seek to get more Sri Lankan women on waves and empower them through surfing.

Shamali Sanjaya is the club's first president.
